My name is Alvin Lau Teacher, and I am deeply honored to share my experiences and insights into the vibrant youth ministry at Mimico Baptist Church. As a devoted teacher and lifelong follower of Christ, I have dedicated myself to serving the youth in our community, helping them take steps toward Jesus and nurturing their faith in a rapidly changing world.


A Lifelong Journey


My journey in ministry began when I (Alvin Lau Teacher) was baptized at the age of 16. Since then, I have been actively involved in various ministry settings, taking on student leadership roles, participating in university campus ministries, and contributing to local youth ministries. These experiences have shaped my mission: to assist individuals, especially young people, in drawing closer to Christ.


Transmitting God's Truth


In our ever-evolving world, it is essential to instill the timeless truths of God in the hearts and minds of the next generation. I firmly believe in Psalm 78:4b (NIV), which urges us to "highlight the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done." This serves as the foundation of our youth ministry at Mimico Baptist Church.
